A custom transition piece was developed for an installation where a standard reducer did not fit the existing system and available space.
The adapter connects 150 mm ventilation ducting to 100 mm flexible ducting. Its geometry was shaped as a compact transition that can fit into the existing system.
The first piece also serves as a real-world fit check on both diameters. This is useful when available commercial reducers do not suit the space or the required connection method.
Adapters, reducers, spacers and brackets can be simple in function but still depend on accurate input dimensions and geometry tailored to a specific system. For an initial assessment, the most useful information is what must be connected, the actual dimensions and the space available for the transition.

With that information we can assess a custom adapter or reducer.
