The client supplied the finished STL file. Bearhill Lab handled the final production using a material suited to the higher temperatures and conditions inside a vehicle door.
We did not design or redesign the 3D model for this project. The client supplied a finished STL for a 1997 Honda Del Sol speaker adapter, and our role was to produce the functional part to a high standard.
Material choice matters for a component installed inside an automotive door. The adapter was therefore produced in a material suitable for elevated temperatures and more demanding conditions than a typical decorative item.
